This thing won't talk with my Prius, my neighbor's BMW, my computer, or
my Jabra BT200. That's true for my unit and for a friend's as well. It's
a great palmphone, but as for Bluetooth it's disappointing. All those
partners work great with a Sony/Ericsson T608, and a couple of others -
which also ignore the Treo completely. I really did go through the
protocols, even used the right size hammer.

At one point I got the BT200 working, but ten minutes later these two
miracles didn't know each other and had no interest in meeting again.

Can anyone direct me toward some guidance?

Try returning the Treo 650 to its place of purchase for refund.

Sure - but everything else works great, so the BT was just a cherry on
top of a very nice cake. And PalmOne promises to eventually fix that
problem.
