Hi,

Does anybody know if it is possible to use a Tamron CF Tele Macro BBAR MC
80-210 Lens on Canon *Digital* cameras? (If so which models?) The lens has
previosuly been used on a Canon AE1 analogue camera using an Tamron ADAPTALL
2.

Many thanks,

Chris

The long answer is yes.

Tamron made a few Adaptall2/EOS adapters but for some reason
discontinued them and they are rare. However, you can buy a current
Adaptall2/M42 adapter pair it with an M42/EOS adapter and mount your
Adaptall2 lens on any EOS digital SLR. See:
http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mounts.htm (about 1/3 down the
page).

Realize that the lens will be manual focus only on a body not as
well-suited as your AE-1. Metering must be done stopped-down and the
lens must be stopped-down manually prior to shutter release.
