i have someone helping me but i think he is a bit bias.
i have one setup he recommended:
CPU: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=47459
The Phenom II X4 but i was looking at the 980

Motherboard: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=62403
This is one of the new gigabyte boards it has all the new stuff including
SATA3, USB3, and the brand new AMD Chipset which supports crossfire and
sli.

RAM: http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=55544&promoid=12...
Just the basic Mushkin DDR3 here.

Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI 2x Mini DisplayPort Video Card http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=57629&promoid=12...

PSU:Corsair TX750 V2 750W ATX 12V Single Rail 60A 24PIN ATX Power Supply Active PFC 80PLUS Bronze
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=58382
Hard Drive: Western Digital WD Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 6GB/S 7200RPM 32MB Cache 3.5IN Hard Drive OEM http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=58881

NZXT Phantom EATX Steel Computer Case 5X5.25 7X3.5/2.5 With Integrated Fan Controller - Black Green
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=64419

this comes to around 1050 i think

I was looking at intel he seems to think it would be to expensive.
this is what i was thinking but i know next to nothing.

1 x Intel Core i5 2500K Quad Core Unlocked Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Sandy Bridge 6MB
1 x Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P ATX LGA1155 Z68 DDR3 2PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 2PCI HDMI SLI SATA3 USB3.0 Motherboard

then i thought i could just use all the same parts on that intel motherboard.
Assuming i can use all the other same part this only costs me $1188
inless you could not tell im using NCIX.com because he recommened it and iv heard good things from alot of people

I APPRECIATE ALL FEEDBACK

I would change the phenom out for a 2500k and go with a WAY cheaper 6950 that can be unlocked to a 6970. Be sure to get a modular power supply such as the TX750M. Unless your stuck on that case go with another because that is a very plasticy cheap case. I would select something such as a haf case. make sure your mobo if you go with intel has CrossFireX support for future upgrades.
Please email me at stewood23@gmail.com if you need any more help!

^Don't post your email on a public forum

The X4 is fine, the Intel is more powerful yes but also more expensive. 6970 might be overkill depending on your setup. I'd also recommend a 6950 as it's better value.

I think the motherboard i had selected in the second part supports crossfire. iv no idea what case i want i pretty much need to be told exactly what to get because i dont know anything about cooling or dementions. i have the money and its only going to be used to gaming so im fine with spending alot on my graphics card. tyvm for your info

Firtly, I trust humanity enough finneous to post my email. Seconly you never asked him what the purpose was he might be encoding video all day for all we know!

That mobo is solid, and the case is good if it's what you like. It's a subjective matter obviously ;)  That case is large enough to house anything so no worries there.

No, and neither did you. You're the one recommending a product twice as expensive.
October 25, 2011 1:55:20 PM

Indeed, I agree with you there Finnneous...

Wait, wut?
October 25, 2011 1:57:27 PM

yes and in some cases twice the preformance
October 25, 2011 1:57:45 PM

That case is fairly nice but I am not one to ever make it a high dollar item. Concern yourself with performance not looks and you can save a lot of money for parts that mean more.
October 25, 2011 1:57:52 PM

i will be using it for strictly gaming BF3 to be exact. so basicly all i need to do is switch out my PSU for a TX750M and im good to go? could you please make sure all my parts will work 100% because im really quite clueless and the last thing i need is to find out something is not compatable. If you could recommend a case ill jump on it looks really are nothing to me thats just the case that was recommended and i dont know any better. I want he intel setup in case i was not clear...
October 25, 2011 1:58:01 PM

You recommend the 2500K because he might be encoding - you never asked that either. What's up with that? It's a lot more expensive than the Phenom II.
October 25, 2011 2:00:12 PM

yes it is and honesly it is better than the phenomII. Now im not a fanboy either way but sandybridge kicks phenom II ass. Phenom II processors are just a generation behind go with the 2500k and i would reccomend the Gigabyte 3 fan 6950.

GTG buh bye
October 25, 2011 2:01:53 PM

im told intel is best for gaming and also if i want to upgrade in the future i wont need to buy a new motherboard hopefully. i can afford the 2500k assuming all i need to do is change out the motherboard for the one i have listed in first post and the TX750M.

This is considered the quintessential builders on a budget case, but by no means is it a cheap tower!

Here is a mid level builders case.

1 x Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P ATX LGA1155 Z68 DDR3 2PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 2PCI HDMI SLI SATA3 USB3.0 Motherboard

Esentially it does....the difference with the Haf 922 is that there are less fans, BUT imo the fans are much more efficient then all the fans on that NZXT. The 922 is quality and durability in an awesome package. Hands down the better tower between the two of them.

ty i shall use that case then. do you think im ready to order with my above setup? i just want to make sure they all work together or maybe you have sugestions for a better setup?
October 25, 2011 2:27:20 PM

The Intel is indeed better. Seems like a nice build. Have fun!

Unfortunately this HDD isn't avail on the site you are purchasing from :(

The other bummer is its currently out of stock but worth the wait.

Have you decide what your cooling solution is going to be for the cpu? Stock coolers arent great for oc'n to the max. Suggestion for a quality cooler that will allow to oc fairly far on the i5.
