I say get the 6950 2GB and then crossfire a little latter. Like the dual fan PowerColor AX6950 2GBD5-2DH

GTX560 Ti ftw is right. BA card, and able for a little extra if you want to manually tweak it. If you are looking for a RED theme, try the HAF X 922 or 932. A lot of red lights to make it applicious red, and definatelly the best cooling case out there. You can add 2 additional RED LED fans for $40 on newegg straight from cooler master, and they look sexy. i have them in my HAF X. wow!

Note on that Thermaltake Frio. MAX SETTINGS IS LOUD! Im not a sound snob for quiet computers, so i dont care. but i was amazed at the noise. It is worth every db though for the performance and CFM i get out of that thing. Took my 4.1Ghz OC to a 4.3GHz OC! wow!

i like the case as to me it looks sleek

the fans on the frio i was going to replace with G-Silent 78216 1500rpm Red LED Fan and use Asetek Fan Speed Controller Kit for speeds

or i could go for the Frio Advanced.....

also will the psu do?

oh...yeah. i5 2500k is the big boy out there right now. for gaming, its the best for the money. period. Very close second to i7 2600k, enough so where it doesnt actually have any differences that would make a $10 span, let alone a $110 difference.

+1 for a 2GB 6950, CF in future. That said this is somewhat dependant on what resolution you are running and if you plan on having the option of a multi-monitor set-up.

Except get either the Sapphire Dirt 3 edition: ~£200 inc VAT or Sapphire 2GB Toxic: ~£240 inc VAT. Both have dual BIOS and the Toxic can still be flashed to unlock the 6970 shaders (haven't seen a review otherwise to date) due to its custom PCB not being based on the Rev.2 reference card.

Also agree on any of the CM HAF series, look sweet with a nice red glow (LED fans + CCFL tubes) from within. Although if you truly want a 'red' case then those mentioned by g-unit work.

Even the ASUS 2GB 6950 DirectCU II should fit without an issue (its shorter than a 5970 and they fit) although due to the way the HDD rack is designed (the one thing I don't like about the PC-P50R... rear access only) it will have to be in the lower position if you were to fit 2 6950's.
