Gaming Monitors

Hi guys,
I have searched and searched forums and reviews but cant seem to get a straight answer to my question. Also I apologize, I didn't really know where to post this question.

I am in the market for a 24' monitor that I plan to use for gaming, FPS, RPG's, that kind of thing.

Money isn't really an issue, however the problem I run into is that when I think I have found a good one, reviews state otherwise.
Some people say to go a 3D monitor due to its 120Hz for FPS, but then none of these monitors seem to get a good wrap. Or one site says its great, another says to stay clear.

So if anyone out there can recommend a good gaming monitor, that would be great.

Here are the following things I look for in a quality display:

LED backlight
Minimum 1920x1080 (1080p) resolution
IPS panel
GTG of less than 5ms (if you can get 2ms, that is best)

If you can match these qualities, then you will get good results. The best prices I have seen on IPS panel monitors lately are from LG.
