Hi there, I am going to be setting up a three monitor Eyefinity sometime this week. The setup would be as follows:
2 1920x1080 monitors (via DVI)
1 1680x1050 monitor (via DP)
1 XFX 6850, with room to OC
AMD Phenom II x4 955 OCd to 4.0GHz
4GB DDR3 RAM
Hyper 212+
6 case fans
Now my motherboard is mATX leaving me no room to Crossfire.
Will my rig be able to handle games with this setup?
What settings can I expect for games like Bad Company 2, or Fallout: New Vegas?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

no, the card is too slow to game with three monitors. Maybe if you turned down all the details you would get acceptable performance, but that would suck. That card can handle one single 1080p monitor with mostly high detail and good fps. Fallout new vegas isnt terribly graphically demanding so it may be ok with med detail eyefinity.

Thanks for the reply, I am fine with turning down the details. I just turned on eyefinity with 2 monitors (terrible due to bezels in line of sight), on Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. It handled it at 60fps, but the details were slightly turned down. The card is overclocked, and I have the resources to push it even further if required. Hopefully when the third monitor comes it will be the same story.
