Hi, since I just sold my video card to buy another gtx 570 because I read the Twin Frozr II has VRM Issues and other stuff, I was thinking in a small upgrade, here is my current system specs:

- AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE (4th core unlocked) OC @ 3.5 Ghz
- GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H AM3 AMD 890GX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
- MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr II OC GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5
- G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
- COOLER MASTER GX Series RS750-ACAAE3-US 750W ATX12V v2.31 SLI Ready
- Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Universal CPU Cooler
- COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN2 CM690 II Advanced Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

I was checking some brands and models and I found these two:

MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III PE/OC GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

GIGABYTE Super Overclock Series GV-N570SO-13I GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Which one do you think is better? one of the above or another one, heck maybe even an AMD one.

Then, since I am going to order it from Newegg, I thought to do a small upgrade to my system, what do you recommend me?
I was thinking in a six core cpu, maybe this one?

And maybe another 2x2GB Ram sticks? Please suggest me which ones should I get.

I am open to any advice of what should I buy. Thanks for your help!

I would get more RAM for sure. Another 2x2GB of what you have would be good or just go for the 4 GB sticks made by the same company.
For the graphics, the MSI has better reviews so I would go with that one since the insides are identical to the Gigabyte one.
For the CPU, you should consider looking into the new Bulldozer builds because they are faster for around the same price or slightly higher than the Phenom.
This (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) is about the same price and has the new build so it might be better but I would look into it more.

For what I read those CPUs are not doing fine in gaming, and I just found my Mobo is not am3+ after all :(  because it is rev 2.0 which is not am3+ bios supported, thanks though

Hmm, why are you looking to upgrade? I don't think there's a worthwhile upgrade out yet compared to your system. It should run games fine..?

The only thing would be another set of Ram. Your CPU is the best AMD for gaming right now with that 4th core unlocked, and you have it clocked to 3.5GHz, plenty fast enough. Keep your gpu, and all your other toys, you are fine. No need to waste money. I would recommend getting a brand new 8Gb (2x4) set of ram though.
