Ps2 socket had been not recogniged

Hello,
mine ps2 mouse and keyboard had stopped recognize while doing mine work in the pc. mine pc background work is going on but mouse and keyboard had not responding in the middle

Had you removed and re connected the mouse and keyboard while the PC was still on?

yes i removed and re connected the mouse and keyboard while the PC was still on,but no change
