My old PC has kicked the bucket (Gigabyte UD3 endless restart fail) and I'm going to build me a new system, leaving only the PSU, GPU and case. Would appreciate some advice from those with experience, as it would be only my second build.
Staying:
PSU: Corsair AX-850w
Case: Coolermaster HAF 922
GPU: ATI 4870 X2 (Will wait for the next generation before replacing. Still a monster of a card)
New:
CPU: i5 2500k
MB: Asrock Extreme 4 Gen 3
RAM: G.skill 2x4GB G.Skill RipJaw 1600Mhz
SSD: Here it gets a bit hairy. I'm trying to decide between Corsair Force 3 120Gb and Crucial M4 128Gb. I was advised in the storage forum that the Corsair is more reliable due to it being based on Marvell and not Sandforce. This is my main dillema in the build.
Storage: WD Caviar black 2Tb
