Motherboard/HDD problem! Tags: Memory Hard Drives Motherboards Last response: November 27, 2012 9:29 PM in Memory Share blake1243 November 27, 2012 6:12:56 PM I have a couple questions. I ordered all my parts on thanksgiving and was wondering if i made some mistakes ? I ordered a bare drive without noticing and was wondering if it will work, and will i have cables with my mobo?? I also got a Intel h61 chipset mobo made by msi and i noticed the HDD i ordered is sata 6gb/s..... my mobo seems to have sata 3 gb/s. Am i stressing out for no reason?? The SATA cables will (should) come with your motherboard. The HDD will simply run at SATA II speed no problem. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
