Some air coolers need research done to make sure the fan header and RAM don't interfere or get interfered with. m 0 l rhonniemacrae January 26, 2012 11:43:39 PM scottiemedic said:Are you doing stock cooling or aftermarket? But with a nice case, mobo and CPU like that, wouldn't you like the option to OC if you needed some extra oomph? m 0 l esrever January 26, 2012 11:47:40 PM looks good but I would recommend still getting an aftermarket fan as the stock is really crappy even for non OC. m 0 l rhonniemacrae January 26, 2012 11:50:22 PM esrever said:looks good but I would recommend still getting an aftermarket fan as the stock is really crappy even for non OC. Would it cause overheating problems? i figured even if it was crap it would be okay because theres like 3 fans on the case. haha. m 0 l esrever January 26, 2012 11:55:03 PM with the stock fan my phenom II 955 was still overheating under prime95. was ok on regular tasks but I didn't trust it. My case also had 3 fans and my room isn't even hot so I don't trust the stock. Now even with 400mhz OC I stay 10C below the original temps at stock. I have the hyper 212+. m 0 l hpdeskjet January 27, 2012 12:11:51 AM Try this PSU: XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) 650W ATX12V 2.2 & ESP12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply $89.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... I generally trust XFX over Rosewill for PSUs. This one comes out to roughly the same price as the Rosewill after the MIR. m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask !
