Please help with new pc build.

I would like to know if this is a good pc for bf3,skyrim,asylum,and new vegas.

monitor: (119.99)
don't wanna give up 1080p :)
cpu: (209.99)

mobo: (117.99, i was thinking of maybe using the ssd cache technology gigabyte offers and increase performance in gaming) or (109.99)

gpu: (209.99)

psu: (119.99 to sli in a bit)

ram: (49.99)

hdd: (69.99)

case: (why not for 33.99 after 10% off)

ssd is for later and I am happy with everything I looked at except for the price, it seams insane as compared to a gaming laptop for about the same price(not ultra detail graphics but it's portable and up-gradable, gpu at least is)
for 964.99

pc total is about:=$923.93

Please give me your opinions as I would love to order this as soon as possible and I would like the best for the money desktop or laptop.

Thank you very much for reading.

More about please build
  1. Looks good!

Don't forget to add in the cost of Win7. Also, look into possible future (free?) upgrade to Win8 when available.
  2. Get the Gigabyte board if you plan to Sli in the future. The ASRock board only has a single PCI-E slot.
  3. Looks like a pretty solid combination of components, however that Mobo looks like the weak point in the build. Since the GTX 6XX line will be coming out, you may be looking to SLI to keep up, and that board is not great for SLI.

Case looks alright, however doesn't offer the full complement of internal fans that an Antec 900 or 1200 does.

    Good luck!
  4. All of the components are good except the mobo which could use a upgrade. Also, might want to get a larger HDD. And as for the price it's actually pretty reasonable. Getting a good PC will always be more expensive than a console and it will always be that way.
