Double Ram Tags: Memory RAM Firefox Last response: November 28, 2012 12:30 AM in Memory Share Leon@rd November 27, 2012 11:42:26 PM My memory (1 gb) is always close to maxed out when firefox is open. If I double my ram from 1 gb to 2 gb, would the memory usage stay below 1 gb? Or max out again near 2gb? It's not for gaming. Just multitasking (firefox, word, excel, adobe, etc.). Running Win 7 32 bit. Thanks in advance. Edit: My motherboard's stated max ram speed is 667. Could it possibly still utilize 800 mhz ram?
