I am about to build my first computer, and I would like some advice. As a point of reference, I am going for a mid-range gaming PC, (no need to give me 1000 fps on Crysis 2), and I would like it to have all the parts that I need (not just mobo, case, graphics card, and CPU) for a usable computer. Also, I am going for an all-blue theme if it is at all relevant. My price range is around $900.
This is what I have so far:

CD Drive:

(I know it's crappy, but I'm rarely going to use it)

Case:

HDD:

Monitor:

Graphics:

Keyboard/ mouse:

Fan:

(pretty much decorative)

PSU/CPU

MoBo/RAM

Speakers, I already have

So my questions are:
1. Does this make any sense? (Is one thing over/underpowered or something)
2. Am I missing anything here? What else would I need (if anything) to have a usable computer?

Solution
Your CPU and mobo will not work together. The Mobo is for the A-series Llano CPUs and your CPU is an AM3 Phenom II model. I'd suggest one of the Gigabyte AM3+ mobos as then you will be able to update to Zambezi or possibly Piledriver CPUs in the future.

Unless Newegg has a combo deal on the Gigabyte mobo that you chose, you'll need to buy 8 GB. of 1333 MHz. (or 1600 MHz. if you like), RAM, (2x 4 GB.). You don't need the tall heatsinks and they cost more but it's up to you.

Well that would have been an unpleasant discovery.

Thank you for that!
