Anyways @ the OP, I would lean towards the MSI board which is the B75-G41. I myself have never owned MSI or Gigabyte motherboards but based on the threads I have read, Gigabyte is a bit problematic.

Edit: No harm done getting either board, but should wait for other opinions before buying it. I myself am only assuming since I have read more threads with problems involving Gigabyte more than MSI. That may be due to Gigabyte being more popular or something else.

Well at the core both boards are similar since they are both based on the B75 chipset. However the one difference I can see off the bat is the MSI board has more compatibility with higher frequency ram.
