Hello,I have a basic question about DMS59

I know baisc DMS-59 59 pin( 2 x 29Pin DL DVI-I), so can change DVI and VGA
and DVI interface is for TMDS, have clock channel.

but I see NVIDIA NVS300 SPEC, have DMS59 to DisplayPort Cable Adaptor,
I know DP interface is Micro-Packet Architecture, no clock channel

why basic TMDS type DMS-59 can change to Micro-Packet Architecture type DP

so another DMS-59 card can use the NVS300 DMS59to DP adaptor

or NVS300 can use another old DMS-59 to VGA/DVI Adaptor?

http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-nvs-300-us.html

Every place I either see the NVS300 card listed for the DisplayPort adapter or no card listed. For the DisplayPort adapter, it does look like only the NVS300 card is supported, although for $30 for the cable, maybe less on ebay, may be worth to get one and just try it.

Any VGA or DVI adapter will work with the NVS300, does not need to be a special one.

Yes, I know any another DMS-59 to VGA or DVI-D adapter can use on NVS300,
NVS300's DMS-59 to VGA or DVI-D adapter also can use on anotehr DMS-59 card ex NVS290

so I think it is a basic DMS-59 Interface, using Dual DL-DVI-I via TMDS tech on NVS300.

but basic DMS-59 why can trans to DP output. is same DL-DVI-I can trans to DP, it is not impossible.
If can, why another DMS-59 video card can not use the NVS300's DMS-59 to DP adapter.

so i think the DMS-59 in NVS300 is special. otherwise.....Why...Please any can tell me.
