2gb ram for windows 7 starter 32 bit

I inserted 2GB of ram for windows 7 starter 32 bit the laptop does not work, when I put back the old Ram 1 GB it works

It would help to know what laptop and what ram you bought. All RAM will not work with each laptop, even if the specs are the same. You have to check the makers website for compatibility.
