Update GTX580 Driver

I have the MSI GTX 580 Lightning, and the driver I have from MSI's site is 263, but on the main site for GTX 580's the driver version is 280, can I use the driver 280 on my card? Thanks

  1. Yes you can. If you have Windows 7 OS you can download the latest drivers for your card and just install them over your old drivers, the card will reset itself during the installation.
  2. Due To Nvidia's "Unified Driver Architecture" They Are Very Good At Supporting Older Cards Even With The Newest Drivers, I Used The Newest Driver On A Machine I Rebuilt For A Friend (A OC-3GHz Athlon XP, With 3GB Of RAM, GeforceFX 5950 256MB, Windows7 Home Premium) With No Problems.
