Hi. I have a 7-years old PC and it's time to upgrade. I did a config but I really don't know about GPU's. I have a circa 500€ budget for the card, and i want to know the best card fot this money. I hope to play at least the next 6 months games that will be released without changing the card. I was thinking about gtx 580 but I really need some help. Do you think that I can max out the future games, for at least 6 months with this? Or there is a better choice for this money?

The card will be used with a i7-2600k, max resolution 1900*1200. So, whats the best choice for the budget? I really don't want to buy another one in 3-6 months to be able to play the next games. Thank and sorry for my bad English .

I can sli/cross, i don't care, the only thing is that i don't want to change the card becouse in 4months will release a game that requires too much. I want a card/sli/cross, that can run at least another half year at max without problems. I do not interess 3D or multiple screens. Just one, at 1900*1200. U really thing 2*6950 can beat 580 ? If so, i would go that way. Other opinions welcomed

I would say

Go for crossfire 6870X2. MUCH LESS POWER CONSUMPTION AND TOP RESULTS! You can start with 6870X2 one card only and see how it goes..I think you won't have less than 50fps IN ALL THE GAMES AT ALL SETTINGS at 1920x1200... Which is pro anyway.
And in 1-2 years you can buy one more 6870X2 and do a crossfire :)

And i disagree with the i7-2600 is not for games. I have seen i5-2500k getting same results as my i7-920....

I'd go with a GTX 580 since you are willing to spring for it. I prefer going the one powerful GPU route over going the SLI/Crossfire route. I bought the GTX 480 when it came out and haven't looked back since, no regrets and it still plays every game pretty well, over one year later.
