at that budget, a HD6950 1GB gets my recommendation

Which is plenty for 1080 with all the eye candy.

You got 3 PCIe slots, so my recommandation is two 6870 if you got 4 molex on your PSU, or two 6850 if you got 2 molex on your PSU.

if you can find the gtx 460 2win for $330 then great, but cheapest in uk is about £330 so way over budget, and dual GPU are pretty similar price to 6950 (which was my first choice), but require a more expensive PSU, and if I go for nvidia a different mobo. not to also forget I can go to xfire later if i get 6950 now, instead of buying xfire or sli now and having to stick with it.

If you can help me while please staying within this budget then that would be great please

I suggest the 2gb? It's still in his price range lol..

I use a 6950 they work GREAT for 1080p. You can run everything on high nbd. Specially with that cpu
