anyone know the reason behind the difficulty in finding retailers who stock the non EE gtx460 (01G-P3-1372-AR) with full warranty card outside of newegg and evga? i would have guessed amazon and other tech places would have it but google searches bring up nothing.

and evga warranties arent transferable right?

It shouldn't make a difference. SLI it with any other similar GTX460.

Probably hard to find seeing as its a previous gen card. Nvidia has moved onto making the 5 series cards, and the 6 series cards should be out in 6-8mo.

well i was looking for a gtx460 with full warranty since it look like i have a reputation of burning out cards (they just die on their own). killed a 8800gt and one of my SLIed 9800GT just died too.

yea perhaps i should wait till the 6 series hit, then the 5s will go down and i can get a gtx 560 at 460 prices. 6-8 mo is a relatively long wait though. maybe it will be worth it.
