Psu recommendation for a gaming build

im planning to build a new pc very soon, for now ill put a gtx 580, intel 2500k 8gigs of ram, optical drive (liteOn) and an hdd in it. now im looking for a pcu which will give me enough power to be able to upgrade in the future. for example to add a second gtx 580 and upgrade the cpu. what would be a good pcu for that?

750 Should be more than adequate for your future power needs as well.

There are several quality units on that website. Enermax, Seasonic, Antec, XFX, some Silverstones....

Whats your budget range?

my budget is about 1200 so i could fit in the by sosofm recommended Corsair CMPSU-850TXV2, but if you say a 750 is enough for future upgrades i will stay with the 750...? or should i take the 850 just to be on the safe side?

I'd go with the 850w as well for 580 sli.
