Are blue LED fans still bright when in sleep mode? I've read some people saying it's annoying when you're trying to sleep, but wasn't sure if it was because they leave their computers on overnight or not.
If they do turn off in sleep mode, is that recommended or does it not matter if a fan is running or not in sleep mode?

It depends on the fans, if the system is just in sleep mode then the fans will still be running so yes the LED's will still be there. But it really depends on the fans, as not all LED fans are the same in brightness. You can always try and find fans that aren't very bright so it won't annoy you as much, but if you find LED's in general annoying then you'd be better off just going with a non LED fan, cause in sleep mode the fans won't turn off.
