I'm building a computer for the first time and could use some advice on my build, specifically on the motherboard. My graphics card is PCI Express 2.1 x 16, but all the motherboards I've found have PCI Express 2.0 x 16 sockets, does that matter? Also, I want to make sure the parts fit in my case, and will all work with a 64 bit OS. Will this build work? Thanks

Here is the build:

Thanks for the advice, I would have missed that. I'd like to get a PSU that would be capable of crossfire in the future, do you think this PSU could handle it, or would I need more?

What jmsellars said... What country are you from? $99.99 is WAaaay too much for a 500GB HDD. 4 or 8 Gig of dual channel DDR3 RAM, and you are using the wireless card to link to the internet?...How?
Can't comment on the GPU. I'm a pretty hard core Nvidia fan. But The Radeons might show some hope.

There were some floods in Thailand where like 50% of the worlds hard drives are made and thousands of factories are down, they are in seriously short supply everywhere.

I'm in the United State's, I think someone explained why HDDs cost a fortune, which kind of sucks since I don't have any desktop HDDs lying around. Why am I using a wireless card to connect to the internet? Because I don't have an easy way to plug in from my desk.
