I am looking for a good motherboard that cost less than $100 and that would run an i5 3570k and is will to upgrade to a i7 later on if needed. Also, it should be able to run at least 1x PCI-e 3.0 x16.
Anybody have some good suggestions?
This is what I found on Newegg so far: MSI Z77A-G41 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS ASRock Z77 Pro3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Either of those boards will work; check the newegg reviews and decide which one has the least negative reviews and the right ports for your system. The UEFI bios works great; don't know if the asrock has it, but it should be somewhere in the description.
Thanks. I don't know what that BIOS specifically does though.
Both seem to support UEFI bios (you can use your mouse in the bios) and have pretty good reviews. The MSI comes with a $10 rebate card right now so it's about $15 cheaper. The Asrock has Lucid Virtu Universal MVP so you can switch out to IGP when you're not in graphically demanding situation. Don't know how well that works. The Asrock reviews do seem a bit better.
