Not posting after fx8150 install

I am currently using win- 7 64 bit with an asus m4a88td-v / amd 965x4 / 880g chipset. I updated the bios to 2001 directly from asus website so i could upgrade to an amd fx 8150. after installing the cpu the machine will not post. no video with msi 6970 or on board graphics. I reinstalled the 965 and its running as i type just fine. is there anything else i should have done?

Your mobo doesn't support FX = plain and simple

tyvm sir altho i was assured it would work fine when i bought it from micro center. now that i installed it im sure they wont take it back. so what mobo do you recommend for a gaming addict?
