P9x79 deluxe + patriot 16gb 1600mhz dual channel kit compatible?

is my ddr3 ram compatible with my mobo? i didnt see in the QVL list my ddr3 kit. can my ram run correctly in my mobo?

patriot extreme viper series LM
16gb (2x8gb) 1600mhz dual channel kit

my rig:
p9x79 deluxe, i7 3960x lga 2011, corsair h100, corsair ax850watts.

Have you installed it and it doesn't work, or you haven't bought it yet?

i have it already i just did not yet installed it. its still in the its package. my wife actually won it in IEM "intel extreme master" in singapore. can that ddr run in my mobo? or i have to trade it with 4x4gb quad channel?

See if the kit is listed among the recomended RAMs for your board.
If not, they might work, but I would trade them for a guaranteed compatible kit.
