Folding Bluetooth keyboards for mobiles

These sound great and will be very useful when I get my SPV C500 shortly.
Because Blackberry tariffs are so expensive (in the UK at least) this seems
like a good compromise - a decent smartphone with a keyboard you can take on
the road with you.

I have a very basic question - how do you defeat the screen saver on your
smartphone's screen? Do you have to manually switch it off every time you
use the keyboard with the phone or does the Bluetooth hook-up somehow defeat
it automatically?

I guess it pays to keep the emails you write very short, otherwise the
phone's battery will drain quickly with the screen being on all the time.

After reading numerous reviews the best keyboard I've found seems to be the
'Stowaway', made by Think Outside.

I think it's cheaper in the States, you can get it direct from the
manufacturers.

Anyone any experience of this or other similar keyboards? The 'Freedom'
keyboard is a bit cheaper but was criticised for having keys that were too
small.
