PC Compatibility Sistem

I made a new PC from Emag.ro and i think i have a compatibility issue...it doesn't run as fast as it should be for the price i gave for him this is what i have

Procesor Intel® CoreTM2 Quad Q8300 2.5GHz, socket 775 Box

Sursa Inter-Tech SL-700, 700W
DVD R/RW CD R/RW combo
4GB kit (2GBx2), 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-8500 memory module

All those component are outdated, however, a new GPU will improve the performance when gaming. What do you use this system for?

how are they outdated? 5 months old components and i use it for gaming...

Socket 775 is a outdated platform which came out around 6-7 years ago.
It was the first to reverse the pins between the CPU and socket, and introduction of
multicore processing. Current socket is LGA1155.
