Hello,
how do i make my router locked or private so others cant sign onto it when i go on line say at hotels i have tp-link wr700n router , it is small no buttons on it to set security , it says it is encypripted ?????? you seeother wfii spots with a lock next to it how do i do this ???

Go to the security settings in the router by logging in and turn on WPA or WPA2 with a pass phrase that you will then enter into your computers. The instructions in detail are on about page 12 of your user manual. If you have not changed it the default to reach the setup is http://192.168.0.254 user: admin password: admin. (And change those when you are in there from admin/admin).
