Radeon HD 6950 Bottlenck doubt.

Will play games like Metro 2033, Crysis, Witcher 2, BF. At 1600x900 fully maxed out, if i face bottlenecks then i will get a HD 6870 and 18.5'' monitor(I have a old monitor, am going to buy GPU and a monitor together). Now dont reccommend a HD 6970 or CFX. I cant afford that.

How could we tell you if there is a bottleneck?? You haven't even told us what cpu your using...................

6950 will be overkill at 1600x900, it's more made for 1900x1080 or higher. There's also a 6950 1gb or 6950 2gb. The 2gb would be for much higher resolutions.

However if you have a Athlon64 3000+ single core cpu, it doesn't matter, your going to be cpu bottlenecked.

Also helps to mention your power supply make and model and your budget if you want someone to give you an educated suggestion.

if you want crysis 2 fully maxed out at that res then you probably need the 6870. You also need a good quad core CPU.

You already have a good quad core cpu.

There will be no bottlenecks with that setup, although a 6950 (1gb or 2gb) would be overkill at such a low resolution.
