Dual DVI ports are just for dual monitors. Nothing more.
For your monitor, you should always use DVI because DVI uses digital signal whereas RGB uses analog signal -> DVI is better than RGB.
RGB port on today's monitors exists only to support old systems or some budget motherboards.
I'm not so sure about the RGB but I would only imagine that the point to having Dual DVI ports is for Dual Monitor setups...I have dual dvi ports too, I just choose not to use dual monitors
