So I flashed my MSI mobo to the most up to date version and in the details on the updated bios it says

" Update AGESA code for Vishera CPU" ----> http://www.msi.com/product/mb/870A-G54.html#/?div=BIOS

I have the MSI 870a-G54 (NON FX) motherboard

So does this mean I now have support to upgrade my cpu to an FX (Vishera) series???

No where on the cpu support list shows an fx processor on the 870a-g54 mainboard page (link below)

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/870A-G54.html#/?div=CPUSu...

Can anyone enlighten me on this please?

Neither does it here http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-MSI/870A-G54.html I would check with MSI support before buying one.

Idk its weird but in the bios update notes it says support for vishera series cpu. Wouldn't that mean it supports them now?

Contacted MSI but they usually take awhile to get back to me and even more now sinces its the weekend

Nowhere they state Zambesi compatibility so therefore I am skeptical.
