Well i have Pentium D 2.8 GHz (Yes its super slow) and i play games like mw2, mw3, minecraft and other games that are demanding
I was thinking of upgrading my pentium d to a core 2 duo e6600 2.4 Ghz.
The Core 2 Duo would cost me about 40$
heres the link to both of the intel pages

http://ark.intel.com/products/27512/Intel-Pentium-D-Pro...(2M-Cache-2_80-GHz-800-MHz-FSB)

So do you think it will be worth it?
Thanks

Honestly imo I would just get an entirely new system. Yes the core 2 duo would be a reasonable upgrade.

Absolutely, you will see a major increase in speed. Just make sure that your motherboard is compatible with that processor.

if you can get an extra 50 to spend you may be able to jump to a quad. but the e66 isnt a bad upgrade from what you have already.
