I was wondering if it would be possible to fit an E-ATX Motherboard (in this case the Maximus V Formula) into a Standard ATX case such as the Bitfenix Ghost. I was originally going to go with the Switch 810 Matte Black because that can fit E-ATX motherboard, but I have not been able to find any retailers selling it in Canada. It would not be a big deal if I were to change the motherboard to something like a Sabertooth Z77 or an ASRock motherboard, but I really like everything about the Formula and if I could fit that into the Bitfenix Ghost that would be amazing.
I have not been able to find any dimensions of the Formula to see how much more room it would take up inside the case and whether it would fit. I do know that sometimes you can fit E-ATX motherboards into standard ATX cases and it just takes up more room. However I would like someone else's opinion on whether it would be a good idea to buy the Ghost with the Maximus V Formula or change motherboards.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I just found the dimensions for the Formula on ASUS's website, they are 12 inch x 10.1 inch ( 30.5 cm x 25.7 cm ) and Standard ATX's dimensions are 12 inch x 9.6 inch ( 30.5 cm x 24.4 cm )
I guess I didn't look hard enough for them But there they are
