if you are planning on overclocking the cpu get the i5 2500k if not the i5 2400
Mobo you could go with either gigabyte z68 that meets your needs or the asrock extreme4 gen3. If you don't need 2 front usb3 and an extra 2 sata3 get the extreme3 gen3.
GFX card is too low. Get a 6950.
The memory you chose is high profile, go with one low profile so that your cooler clears it.
The Green hdd is very slow while the power conserve is nothing great. Go for Caviar Black/Samsung f3/Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 (sata2 or sata3 dont matter)
Good aftermarket Coolers (by order of performance, noise and money) Xigmatek Aegir/Zalman x10 performa/Corsair A70/Cooler Master Hyper 212
I would recommend a better PSU. If you are gonna run Xfire in the future go for a 850 quality PSU. If you are sworn to keep just one card then what you got is fine (especially if you don't plan on overclocking)
If you wont OC and you go for the i5 2400 you won't need aftermarket cooler.
Case is fine.

Ow missed the use of the system. I gave you gaming specs. Editing needs a bit more for ram i would think, about 16giga. I still recommend a better gfx card and the cpu seems an overkill anyway. The hdd and psu suggestions still apply so does the aftermarket cooling.
As for the motherboard, if you just need one card then you can go with the cheapest z68 gigabyte has got and asrock pro
