Just asking for your views on my build. This was what I built around a 1200 SGD or USD 1000 Budget. Just thought I'd share this with the community.

Intel Core i5 2500k (3.30GHz/6MB)
Asus P8P67 PRO Motherboard (2 PCI E
1TB HD, 7200rpm
2 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 RAM
MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti Cyclone II 1GB GDDR5 RAM
24x CD Writer
Enermax ENP600AWT NAXN 600W PSU
CoolerMaster TT SpaceCraft VF-1 Case

Well, I didn't include the auxiliary parts like the monitor, speakers, scanner and a printer, because I have tonnes of em' in my house and I've salvaged those.

I regretted not getting a better Graphics Card but that was basically all I could afford. I would definitely compensate by SLI-ing the 550s, but dunno whether the 600W PSU can take it. For now, I'm slightly overclocking the current card to get more juice out of it.

Your setup could handle 550Ti's SLI'd. Your 12V rail can source up to 40A, or ~480W itself, and assuming the cards are extremely power hungry that leaves 240 for 12V components in your system which is plenty.

Getting a better graphics card is only important depending on what you are trying to do with it. Alot of new releases do not have extreme GPU requirements to play at high or very high settings (skyrim, swtor, etc). Then again, some games (BF3) do.
