Hey everyone, gonna be ordering this in a few weeks, wondering if this build has compatibility issues, better parts for the money, etc. Thanks. These prices are after rebates/shipping.

That HDD is out of stock, and is probably going to stay that way unless the price goes way up. The major HDD makers all had factories in Thailand, which is experiencing really awful flooding, so i would suggest putting of your build until the prices go back down. That is what i am doing because I can't bear having to pay double price for a hard drive.

Oh hmm. I see microcenter still has it in stock for a decent price. 59.99. Not too bad considering what happened. I'll see how bad it gets, i'm probably ordering around bf/cm, so the prices may go down by then.

tight budget. You gotta up the gpu somehow... Everything is perfect but too tight.
Mobo is oldschool. See if you can jump on the p67 or z68 train and something along the lines of 6870 or 6950.
Nothing wrong with your build, just very tight. Also http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
High profile but you wont mind without aftermarket cooler
