Computer does not boot

Hello, i am building a computer. I've hooked up all the cables and everything but i dont get a post screen. The lights on the motherboard turns on and the cpu fan is spinning but no display at all whatsoever. My computer specs are:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R LGA 1366
Processor: Intel Core i7-960 Bloomfield 3.2GHz LGA 1366
PSU : CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W
Graphic Card: EVGA GeForce GT 440 1024MB
Memory: Crucial 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Green WD5000AADS 500GB
