Hey everyone,

So I currently have 6 Gigs of Crucial Ballistix in my rig (LINK #1 Below) and i'm wanting to upgrade to 12 gigs. I was wondering if i should purchase a whole new set (LINK #3 Below) or just add on to my ballistix and fill all 6 slots. The problem, however, is that the ram i originally put it is discontinued, though some newer crucial looks identical as far as i can see (LINK #2 Below).

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Aaron

Yes, those are recommened by crucials website to be compatible with your motherboard, that is a 12Gb set of memory, if I remember around $62.00 on Newegg and $56.00 on crucials site.
