using pc100 and pc133 together?

I have an asus a7v with one strip of 256mb pc 133 ram on it, and i also have sitting here a 36mb pc 100 ram that i had to take out of my other computer to up grade it, i am wondering if it will work beside the pc133 will it slow down the other bank of ram or will it just run at its own seperate speed?

A 36mb DIMM? Well, besides slowing it down, it may or may not work. They might have some incompatibility problems. Usually, they do work, but in some cases they don't.

Doesn't anyone read old posts and try to get answers? It seems like at least once a week someone ALWAYS asks this SAME EXACT question. They're always titled "Pc100/PC133" or "vs" or "and" and "mixing" Gezzzz...
