I want to know if the Seasonic X 560 (560Watts) would be sufficient for the system I intend to build:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K
MB: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
RAM: DDR3 G.Skill 8192Mb (F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR) 1600MHz, PC3-12800, CL9, (9-9-9-24), 1.5V, (Kit:2x4096MB), Sniper series
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1Tb WD1002FAEX (WD1002FAEX)
GPU: not decided yet, but it would be something high-end (GTX 590 or HD6990)
Case: CoolerMaster Silencio 550

As you are undecided on your graphics card its impossible to guess,

are you overclocking anything, or intend to?
it may be worth your while reading the Psu sticky and/or using an online Psu calculator once you decide what card you're getting

Assuming you are going to be overclocking and have a powerhungry card, I'd say you are looking at a 650/750w decent brand unit at least

**yup, the 6990 links I'm getting all say a minimum of 750w**

No, I will not be overclocking anything. But still, I have not decided on the GPU. Do GTX 590 and HD6990 have that different power consumption?

I cannot, unfortunately.
I just tried the calculator, and for both 590 and 6990 the result is around 530 Watts. Do I really need a 650-750?

Average power consumption of a GTX590 is around 320 watts, that's close to 60% of the X560's rating, go bigger.
