Can you pls. consider the international audience? You guy's do have a large fan base and it would help market your website more if you would consider prizes and promos to be valid internationally.

It's very rare for any international media outlet to provide international coverage in their contests due to several factors. Some among them include the myriad of different laws regarding contests, taxes, import/export rules, shipping partner coverage, sponsor policy, and so much more.

Simply put, to offer the same contest on a global scale goes beyond the realm of economic feasibility.

Heres one problem to think about. Occasionally, a part maker ships parts to only certain areas, or countries , and this of course wouldnt comply with that makers wishes, which there may be no written exceptions for this

Laws differ from country to country about competitions. There is a spider's web of red tape to go through for a completely legitimate contest to take place. Even for intangible items such as product keys there is the legal side of things to get through. PNY held a competition for 3DMark Vantage keys and even they restricted it to the US (but did not check if the winner was actually from the US as authenticating 8000 winners is infeasible).

I know Gigabyte is heavy on overclocking and system building competitions here in the Philippines. They sponsor events for the best overclockers and then they have a regional contest after they compile all the winners from different countries in this region of the world to compete in a final event in Singapore.
