Motherboard specifications help!!!

Hi guys,
i have a M2N68-AM Plus Motherboard with a 800 mhz 2gb ram stick and an on-board graphics card.
I wanted to know if my motherboard is compatible with a DDR3 VIDEO CARD or not as i am planning to buy one soon.
PS. In the owners manual it says that i have a PCI-Express 16X slot but nothing is mentioned about DDR2 or DDR3.
So what do i do?

The type of memory used on the video card has absolutely nothing to do with the type of memory used by the motherboard. I don't know how much you plan on spending, but DDR3/GDDR3 is being replaced by DDR5/GDDR5 on the "better" cards. Sometimes I wonder if anyone reads the articles at this site. I am planning to spend about 5000-6000 INR on it.
So can I put a GDDR5 graphics card on it?
