I have been looking at the two CPUs and i haven't found any differences except on the overclocking and then you can still overclock a little on the Intel Core i5-2500. But, i wasn't even planing to overclock at all in the first place, so i just want to know what the performance differences if there are any. I'm just a guy looking to save a few bucks because it is 20$ more. :)

You found the only difference. If you don't care about overclocking save your money and go 2500.

There is another difference the none K comes with HD2000 GPU and the K with HD3000. Not an issue if the plan is to use a discrete GPU!
