Emachines t5082 RAM max

Hello,
I have an old emachines t5082 running win 7 32 bit. it still has the original mobo, but an upgraded graphics card. the machine specs state 2 gb max DDR2 running vista. I realize that it's anything but a fast computer, but i can't afford to buy a whole new computer... I'd like to put in 2 2 gb sticks of RAM, but will i fry the mobo? this is the video card in it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
