Do I need to choose another motherboard for my build?

I decided on the Asus P8Z77-V motherboard and have had my mind set on it for a while, but a friend who is knowledgeable on computers told me that it was rather expensive and I could find a better board for less. I cannot really decide since I really cannot tell what the features of the board will do compared to other mobo's. I plan on overclocking slightly but not regularly since I don't have the need to run a GTX 670 at ultra settings. The graphics processor I plan on using is a GTX 670, as said before, and the CPU is an i5-3570k Ivy Bridge. So, is there a better motherboard (also I like the built-in wi-fi, but the friend said he had an extra usb access point he would give me)?

Cheaper than the P8Z77-V, has more features, and in my opinion looks nicer.

  2. I researched and I think I may get the ASRock Z77 Extreme6 but thanks! It does seem like a good board but I like the look and features of the ASRock a little better.
