Im looking into buying a wireless router so that a 30' thick blue cord isn't running 15' from my room to my sisters. Im building a AMD 64bit computer and looking through some of neweggs products for wireless routers. I need to know before I buy a router, will a 32bit cardbus interface work with a 64bit athlon processor. I thank anyone that can help!!! http://www2.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16839121010 --> thats the one I would buy.

Yes. Everything 32bit will run on a 64bit cpu. Considering almost everything is still in 32 bit, you'll be fine. When the software is available in 64bit, you'll just be able to upgrade to that.

Hey make sure that your computer has the PCMCIA slot necessary to accept that PC CardBus adapter. Unless you are using a laptop most towers don't come ready to use those. There are other vendors that sell PCI cards that will do what you need. If its not a laptop that is.

This is what I mean, It is typically used for desktop riggs. D-Link is fine, Compatabilty isn't a big issue unless you are looking at 11.g with speedboost since there are several compeeting and noncompatable solutions for that.

I'm running a DLink 614+ wireless 4- port router on my Athlon 64 3200+. The other PC is using a D-Link DWL 520 PCI. Until Win64 has been out for a while, you're not going to find any 64 bit drivers. That's why I cancelled my order.

I know enuff to be dangerous.
