Is the ATI Radeon HD4890 compatible with this Computer???

I am curious whether to know if the ATI Radeon HD4890 is compatible with this HP Desktop that I bought:

Specs are here:

• SuperMulti DVD Burner
• Integrated Ethernet port, No wireless LAN
• 15-in-1 memory card reader, 2 USB, audio

If not, What will I need to do to make this compatible for this HP H8M Desktop?

  1. It is compatible. Just check you PSU to make sure it can handle the graphics card, but in most cases it wont be able too so I would suggest upgrading the PSU. 500W should be enough, but dont buy a cheap unknown make.
  2. Realistically the only that that will determine it is your PSU. I have the 4890 and it takes a 500W PSU which is above and beyond most standard PSU's from pre built computers. Check what the power supply is, but likely you will need a new PSU to support a 4890 or anything in that same power range.

It is, but why would u buy such an old card?
and also u might need to upgrade the power supply as most OEM PSUs arent designed to handle a discrete graphics card that needs more than 75watts

Are the PSU's on the My OEM PC upgradeable to 500W???

Another Question: Is the HD6450 an integrated video card?

I've been hearing that it runs FSX well.

Heard it is a fast video card.

    1. What 500watt are u talking bout?
    2. a HD6450 is a discrete card but it's the weakest of the HD6k cards

Im talking about the power supply.
