6670 is the latest so I would suggest going for the 6670 then.

what resolution are u gaming at anyways?
With a Core i7, I would expect u to have a HD6950 at least.......

A higher end card would also mean he would need to change PSU. It would more appropriate to let the OP answer your desired playing resolution along with his budget.

What is your make of PSU?
if it is a good name brand
then it wouild be possible to run a HD 5770/6770 or even a HD 6850
I have read of the HD 6850 running on a Antec 380w
and as Archean asked
what is your budget?

and to answer original question
for pure gaming then the 5670 is cheaper and performs basically the same
the HD 6670 only gets about 3-5 FPS more in benches
if you have the extra $30 USD for the HD 6670
than it is a better choice mainly because of having newer technology
like newer UVD and ATI Stream etc
but if you want just for gaming and the budget is real low then get the HD 5670

Dont go overkill on ur system, and in ur case, u should have spent the extra cash getting the i7 on a much more powerful discrete graphics card with a i5-2400

Your current CPU,ram, case is a great setup
powersupply is a little weak
it really depends on what you use the computer for
if it is meant to be a high end gaming pc
then you definitely have to upgrade the PSU
400w is not enough for a gaming pc
minimal would be 550w
and better with a 650w
but if is meant as a multimedia or work pc with light duty gaming
then the HD 6770 I recommended would be fine
the HD 6770 is fine for 1920x1080 gaming at medium or a little higher
settings

describe what games you play, resolution of your monitor and how you use your computer?

Mostly I do some Networking labs with virtualization and SQL, .net etc. In addition to that use to play some games Like wise (COD4 MW, red faction not yet started). My monitor is Acer 20inch and 1600x900 resolution.

If you could suggest me where would I get COD BlackOps and similar kind of game. Thanks in advance :)

hi, I got HD5670 1GB DDR5 PCI2.1, need some help re. an error while start or restart the computer every time it displays "Please reinstall/update your display driver". As I have updated display driver. It was happening with HD4670 also. At that time I ignored but still it comes with the new one. Could you please suggest on this.

In addition to that can you suggest about HD5670 will work well with 1600x900 resolution.
